Interests: I'm a big fan of music, love, sports, biblical studies, and JC, but not in that order. I love skiing, and am currently in the field of browsing to find my next big challenge ...hmmm...
Expertise: I wouldn't say that I've really mastered anything. Even my "well trained" dog pees when I get upset with her, and I still have trouble hitting a curveball. But I definately don't have trouble learning, everyday!

I know I know, I apologize deeply for the long terms between my entries.  I just get busy and then when I do get to sit down, I totally forget. Oh well.

So I just got done playing tennis with the big Jimmy Hulett, and did we get whooped.  We won the first game, but pretty much got smoked after that.  I did have fun though.  It is semi-humbling to get pounded by an old man, and a 12 yr old.   My arm hurts.

I've been staying busy with all sorts or fun times and talkative meetings.  I've been beaten down, and I've had time to just sit and rest and be still.

I'm looking forward to Boerne Live this coming wednesday after See you at the pole that morning, it should be an awesome day in the lives of our students in boerne.

Jersey girl is laying by the window right now, all stretched out and stuff, it makes me laugh.

Hey kids and kiddos,

Ah, the summer is winding down, and people are moving, and school is starting.  It has been an awesome summer though for sure.  I was able this weekend to go to South Padre, to sit and relax, to read, and walk on the beach.  It was a joyous time.  I am ready for the fall, recharged and excited about what God is going to do.

Let's see, I'm thinking that its scary when you begin thinking in movie quotes, and begin to lose original thought, but its happening.  This weekend, whenever my brothers or parents said something often I would reply with a great quote from D+D, Anchorman, Ace Ventura...I even broke off a Major League quote...WOW.  Anyway, it's all fun and games.
Yes, the HUB is down, and that's ok, we're working towards getting something going on fbcboerne.org, that will look snazzier than xanga.  hope all is well in your world, don't do crack!

Book of the Summer:  "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper
Piper deals with finding Joy in life, in everything we do.  He has the amazing ability to see the profound and place in a simple place.  It is definately a book that I want to read again, to pull more out of, and it's short enough to do it, even without pictures.

CD of the Summer:  Matt Wertz , Twenty-Three Places
Oh Matt baby.  What a beautiful man.  Actually he's kinda lanky, but man can he play.  It is just a great cruising cd.  Hopefully you've heard him, and if not, get it with that baby sitting money you've been sitting on all summer waiting for someone to take you out on a date.

Quote of the Summer:  "You ate all the food and crapped in the refrigerator...I'm not even mad...That's impressive..." -Ron Burgandy

ya'll keep it real

Welp, I'm already falling behind.  It is just I am so tired when I get home, that I forget to write a daily entry, so maybe I'm thinking a semi-daily entry...or something.

So anyway, the past few days have been fun.  Draining, but fun.  Sunday was a fun filled day, Monday, we went to gameworks, and i love ice cream from Amy's.  I also got hit in the face with a tennis racket, thanks t-mas.  And no, I didn't hit myself, although it wouldn't be a great surprise if I did, b/c it has happened before.  Today we went to Schliterbaun, and that was fun, except there were gauchos of people there.  I did see Jason Brown's twin, or at least that's what I saw from the back, as hairy as it was, but when I called Jason's name, he didn't turn around.

We also had college Bible study tonight and even though I'm not in college anymore, it has been an awesome time all semester.  We have really connected the old testament to the new and it has been a time of growth for me all sememster for sure.  so you kiddos, do have something to look forward to when you are out of high school and coming back.  awesome, summer college bible study.

Let's see do I have a funny story...hmmm....Yeah, haven't been too funny.  I was told today that I am always goofy, so people don't know when to take me seriously, and I was like, "ok, i'll be serious all the time"  NOT!  whatev.  i'll send a vibe when i'm serious, so just be ready.  BAAMMMM!  there it is, i'm serious.

Ok, for reals, for really reals, I'm serious, right.........now.....now..........and right..................now!  I'M TIRED AND I'M GOING TO BED!!!!  How's that for in your face serious.  HaHa.

peace out!

Well I think I may have figured this thing out, and it has been rather fun.  We are heading out to see Jonah 33 tonight, and it should be pretty fun so if you aren't going, well you should be...loser. Just playing.  Anyway we should have a "Hub" page up pretty soon, I'll keep all two of you posted on that big news.  Until then... I'm still recovering from an awesome summerd, full of laughs and only God explainable moments.  I've learned that I just need to teach the message of the cross, and the love that flowed from that.  It is something we overlook all the time, but we should be telling each other everyday as Christians this message, and it should change us if we really believe it.  I have also learned to be still and wait on the Lord.  When things don't go my way, I should remember that it isn't about the situation, but it is still about God receiving the glory wherever I am, and that I can still love people regardless of how the weather is in my world.  Jersey loves you, I love you, and we'll see you soon.

Quote of the day:

"Do it" - Mr. Starsky

Allrighty then.  I hope that I am not too too dumb and this has been a waste of five minutes, that could have been spent reading or something.  Anyway, this sounded like a fun idea at the time.  I just had a thought, what if the government is using this system to spy on the youth of America...hmmm... naaa, it would never work.  So I'm guessing this is kinda like a journal entry, or is it just a journal entry. Try extending a little grace, we've got a first timer over here.  Hope all is well, and we'll get a real entry in the next few days. I must put Jersey to bed now.

Peace out.
